Frisk Logo

The Frisk user interface is designed to be as simple as possible.

Users already familiar with searching the Internet will already have the understanding needed to use the website.

When the home page is loaded, the user is presented with a form that allows entry of a search term.

Forms of search terms

Two forms of input are currently analyzed.

  • Users can provide a search term, which consists of the person, place, thing; or concept that the user is interested in searching for on the web.
  • Users can provide a Uniform Resource Locator, also known as a URL. A URL is a pointer directly to a webpage.

Search results

When entering a search term, the user is provided with information as relevant as possible to the search term. The user can make a selection from the available links on the page to find what they are looking for on the Internet.

When entering a URL, the user is taken to a page with details about the webpage corresponding to the URL. The user can navigate a variety of tabs in order to get full details about the page.
